The hand-guided travi XL apron trolley offers even more space for ground support equipment on the apron. Nevertheless, the travi XL is easy to handle and, like the smaller travi ML, is designed for one-man operation. The sophisticated chassis and innovative braking technology make it possible! This means that chocks, traffic cones, barrier tapes and FOD containers are always where they are needed on the apron.
Stable chassis and innovative braking technology
Like the travi-ML, the XL apron trolley is also equipped with an innovative, purely mechanical and maintenance-free brake. Without wearing parts such as springs that can wear out or gas pressure that is susceptible to temperature, the brake always works safely and reliably, even in tough all-weather use on the apron.

With a length of 1.55 m, the travi XL offers plenty of optimally organized storage space for ground support equipment. A total payload of 172 kg is possible and yet robust, smooth-running castors and a height-adjustable handle with brake ensure easy handling and high mobility in one-man operation on the apron.

Use
The apron trolley is designed for storing apron equipment such as chocks (brake blocks), cones and ladders. The trolley falls within the scope of aviation ground support equipment in accordance with DIN EN 1915-1 to 2. These European standards specify the technical requirements for aviation ground support equipment (GSE) to reduce hazards that may occur during commissioning, operation and maintenance if these are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's or its authorized representative's instructions, including any misuse reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer.
It also takes into account some functional and design requirements that have been identified as essential by official bodies, GSE manufacturers, airlines and handling companies.
Security
The storage location of the operating instructions must be known to all persons working with the apron wagon and must be accessible at all times.
Before starting work, the persons carrying out the work must have read and understood the operating instructions.
The apron wagon may only be operated in a functional condition. In the event of damage, the apron trolley must be taken out of service. The apron wagon may only be parked on level surfaces.
Personnel qualification
The assembly, operation and maintenance of the apron trolley require instruction. An instructed person is someone who has been adequately instructed and trained in the tasks assigned to them and the possible dangers of improper behavior. An instructed person knows the necessary protective equipment, measures, relevant provisions and accident prevention regulations, has been instructed about the operating conditions and has demonstrated their competence.
