Innovative braking technology ensures safe handling
A decisive advantage of the travi-ML apron trolley is the purely mechanical and maintenance-free brake. The brake has been specially tested for use on the apron and, for good reason, no wearing parts such as springs or gas pressure are used.
This design has clear advantages, especially in varying temperatures in tough all-weather use on the apron: Springs can tear or wear out over time, gas pressure can vary depending on the temperature and must then be readjusted.
travi ML: Compact, handy and resilient!
At just 1.33 m long, the travi ML is compact and handy for daily use on the apron. Robustly designed, the travi ML itself weighs only 120 kg, but with a payload of 150 kg it can carry a lot of ground support equipment. Swivel castors and the height-adjustable handle with brake ensure optimum mobility on the apron, even in one-man operation.

Use
The apron trolley is designed for storing apron equipment such as chocks (brake blocks), cones and ladders. The trolley falls within the scope of aviation ground support equipment in accordance with DIN EN 1915-1 to 2. These European standards specify the technical requirements for aviation ground support equipment (GSE) to reduce hazards that may occur during commissioning, operation and maintenance if these are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's or its authorized representative's instructions, including any misuse reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer.
It also takes into account some functional and design requirements that have been identified as essential by official bodies, GSE manufacturers, airlines and handling companies.
Security
The storage location of the operating instructions must be known to all persons working with the apron wagon and must be accessible at all times.
Before starting work, the persons carrying out the work must have read and understood the operating instructions.
The apron wagon may only be operated in a functional condition. In the event of damage, the apron trolley must be taken out of service. The apron wagon may only be parked on level surfaces.
Personnel qualification
The assembly, operation and maintenance of the apron trolley require instruction. An instructed person is someone who has been adequately instructed and trained in the tasks assigned to them and the possible dangers of improper behavior. An instructed person knows the necessary protective equipment, measures, relevant provisions and accident prevention regulations, has been instructed about the operating conditions and has demonstrated their competence.
